Terms of sale

1. Who we are
These terms apply to every order placed at clarkanddarcey.com, operated by Clark & Darcey Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (the “Gallery”, “we”, “us”). Our registered address is on the About page.
2. Ordering
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept that offer when we confirm dispatch by email. If we can’t fulfil an order — for example because an edition has sold out between the time you placed it and the time we process it — we’ll let you know and refund you in full within 5 working days.
Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. The total at checkout is the total you pay.
3. Editions
Limited editions are capped at the number stated on the work’s page. Once an edition sells out we will never reprint it. Open editions are printed on demand and do not have a fixed cap.
Each print is signed and numbered by the artist where indicated, on archival 308gsm Hahnemühle paper.
4. Production and delivery
Every print is made to order. Production takes 5–7 working days; delivery times are listed in full on the shipping page. Risk passes to you on delivery; title passes when we receive cleared payment in full.
5. Returns
Made-to-order works are exempt from the standard 14-day distance- selling cooling-off period under UK law, but we honour returns at our discretion within 14 days of delivery. See the full returns policy for how it works.
6. Copyright
All works remain the copyright of the artist. You buy a physical copy; you do not buy reproduction rights. You may not reproduce, scan, photograph for resale, or otherwise commercially exploit the image.
7. Liability
Our liability for any order is capped at the price you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, or for anything else that can’t lawfully be limited.
8. Governing law
English law governs these terms. Disputes go to the courts of England and Wales.
