Returns & refunds
In short
Every print is made to order. Under UK law made-to-order goods are exempt from the standard 14-day distance-selling cooling-off period, but we’d rather have happy customers than rules. So we accept returns within 14 days of delivery, provided the piece is undamaged and in its original packaging.
If your piece arrives damaged
Email hello@clarkanddarcey.com within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the damage and your order reference. We’ll either reprint and reship at our cost, or refund you in full — your choice. No need to ship the damaged piece back.
If you change your mind
- Email us within 14 days of delivery with your order reference and the reason for return.
- We’ll send return instructions. You arrange and pay for tracked, insured return shipping.
- Once the piece arrives back in original condition we’ll refund the artwork cost (excluding the original shipping fee) within 5 working days, to the same card you paid with.
What we can’t accept
- Works that have been hung, marked, or out of the frame.
- Returns after the 14-day window.
- Bespoke commissions (different policy, agreed up front).
Faulty product
Your statutory rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by this policy. If a piece develops a manufacturing fault within a reasonable period after delivery, contact us and we’ll put it right.
